Alienware's Groundbreaking QD-OLED Monitor Receives Major Enhancements

Alienware is celebrating its 30th anniversary by unveiling a new lineup of gaming monitors, including an upgraded version of its pioneering QD-OLED model. The latest iteration, known as the AW3426DW, promises significant improvements in specifications and design while maintaining the curved format that gamers appreciate.

According to The Verge, the AW3426DW features a 34-inch curved display with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, an upgrade from the previous model's 1,000 nits. Additionally, the refresh rate has been enhanced from 240Hz to 280Hz, making it a compelling choice for gaming enthusiasts. Alienware also plans to release a 39-inch 5K curved ultrawide monitor, the AW3926QW, later this year, which will offer even more advanced features.
