Xbox Prepares for Major Changes Amid Upcoming Layoffs

Microsoft's Xbox division is facing significant organizational changes as it prepares for layoffs in the near future. According to Bloomberg, these forthcoming layoffs could be substantial, possibly affecting around 1,000 employees and leading to budget cuts across various sectors within Xbox. In a memo sent to staff, Sharma and chief content officer Matt Booty highlighted a need for an 'Xbox reset' to tackle the decline in annual revenue, which has reportedly dropped by nearly half a billion over the past five years despite significant investments.
